Happy New Year!

For those considering an upgrade to the 1.8.0 firmware released this
week, I'm happy to report that the motorcycle skin works fine.

In other news, I'm starting on what will likely become Release 5 late
in the spring or early summer.  A dashboard page is in the works, and
I'll probably be making some other minor changes like rearranging the
buttons on the map page yet again.

The 1.7.0 firmware gave me the ability to make overlay data appear on
any page in the skin, which means I could potentially make the data
that appears on the map page part of the skin.  The tradeoff is that
all user overlays will have to be removed, and that will make other
skins look kind of naked when navigating.  I use the MC skin
exclusively and designed it with Lowrance's defaults in mind, so I
could go either way.  I'd be interested to know whether others use
other skins.  (I could also provide two versions of the map page, one
with data and one without.)

Any other ideas/feedback are welcome as usual.
