Motorcycle Skin: Motorcycle Skin End-of-Life Announcement

Hello, all...

I haven't sent anything to this list in close to two years, and I
thought it would be appropriate to post a formal notice that the iWay
Motorcycle Skin has seen its last version and that this mailing list
will be shut off.

Lowrance has discontinued the 500c and 600c, and its current product
lineup doesn't bode well for them staying in the automotive GPS
business.  There are also some things they have yet to correct, the
biggest being how they handle imported routes.  That's become more
important to me, and as much as I will miss being able to customize
the user interface, my next GPS will probably be "Brand G."

For the forseeable future, the last version will continue to be
available in the usual place:

I'd like to thank everyone who used it and sent in suggestions,
feedback and flattery (you know who you are).  :-)
